Food Farm (Virtual)
Proud to Partner
GRADES 3 & 4 | JUNE
The Food Farm program has gone VIRTUAL, providing an opportunity for classrooms anywhere in the province to experience the fun and excitement of learning about where food comes from! Classrooms work through stations (just like at an in-person Food Farm!) that include a short, engaging video, additional learning resources, and a hands-on activity. Students will learn about what plants need to grow, the importance of soil health, where food comes, and so much more! The first 50 teachers to register will receive a Food Farm Learning Kit that provides the materials for the hands-on classroom activity! Additional teachers are welcome to register to gain access to the Virtual Food Farm and digital learning resources.
Food Farm Learning Kits will be mailed out at the end of May, and access to the Virtual Food Farm program will be emailed to registered teachers at the beginning of June.
Please note: Food Farm Learning Kits have all been claimed, you can still sign up to receive access to the Virtual Food Farm program!
Thank you for your interest, registration has closed. Check back in Fall!

"It was fantastic to look around and see and hear every student in every group engaged: thinking, asking questions and eagerly participating in activities."
