GRADES 5 TO 9 | SEPT - DEC 2025
This interactive, out-of-school program takes place at the Regina Food Bank Asahtowikamik Food Hub and helps students explore nutrition and food security initiatives through engaging, hands-on activities. Working in small groups, and in collaboration with a Registered Dietitian, students will rotate through different stations focusing on exploring different food groups and nutrition essentials, learning how to read and understand food labels, building balanced meals, discovering the origins of different ingredients in their favourite meals and the journey of farm to plate. In addition to the activities, students will have the opportunity to ask questions about the Food Bank, their initiatives and how they can support food security in their community.
