GRADES 5 TO 9 | YEAR-ROUND
This interactive program takes place at the Regina Food Bank Food Hub and helps students explore nutrition and food security through engaging, hands-on activities. In small groups, students work through four different stations that focus on exploring food groups and nutrition essentials, learning how to read and understand food labels, building meal plans and budgets, and understanding the journey of food from farm to table. In addition to the activities, students have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the Regina Food Bank and discover its mission and impact on the community.
This program is available Monday mornings (9:30-11:00) only.
