GRADES 7 TO 12 | MARCH - JUNE 2026
This hands-on and collaborative experience takes place at the Regina Food Bank Food Hub where middle years and high school students will engage in a variety of activities that combine budgeting, meal planning, and grocery shopping with valuable insights into food security. Throughout the session, students will work in small groups to engage in a case study where they will develop a monthly budget, participate in a grocery shopping simulation to practice making cost effective food choices, and then work to make a balanced and nutritious meal plan. In addition to the activities, students will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the Regina Food Bank and discover its mission and impact on the community.
