GRADES 3 & 4 | FALL
Experience the full cycle of farming! The Food Farm program helps students learn about where their food comes from through actively participating in growing the ingredients for familiar foods like pizza, burgers, and fries. Grade 3 students plant seeds in the spring, then return in the fall to harvest their crops! During each half-day visit, students work through fun and exciting stations that include a hands-on activity. Each station focuses on a different aspect of agriculture such as bees, farm safety, water management, dairy, and so many more, making it a memorable learning experience like no other!

"It was fantastic to look around and see and hear every student in every group engaged: thinking, asking questions and eagerly participating in activities."
