GRADES 3 & 4 | FALL 2025
Experience the full cycle of farming! The Food Farm program helps students learn about where their food comes from by actively participating in hands-on, engaging, and fun activities and presentations from agriculture industry professionals. At Food Farms, students in Grades 3 and 4 have the opportunity to plant seeds in the spring, and then return in the fall to harvest their crops! During each half-day visit, students will learn about different aspects of agriculture, such as food production, farm safety, seed identification, livestock, water management, and so many more, making it a memorable learning experience like no other!
Registration is now open for all Food Farms and space is limited so apply early!

Not all dates are set as some Food Farms are on working farms, and harvest can be unpredictable! We realize this isn't ideal, and if you are unable to attend once the date is announced, we will simply remove your application.
Please note that we ask all participating teachers to fill out a survey after the program. This feedback is critical for us to evaluate the impact of the program, make improvements and communicate to our funders. If surveys are not filled out, it may affect your acceptance for future years or programs.
