GRADES K TO 8  |  MARCH

Canadian Agriculture Literacy Month (CALM) 2022 will explore Connections in Agriculture through a NEW hands-on resource and engaging activity. We will also be coordinating optional virtual or in-person classroom presentations this year for your students to connect with a local farmer and/or agriculture industry professional. Your students will get to ask their questions about farming like how do farmers decide which crop to grow, why are some eggs brown, where do cows sleep in winter, and more!

We have tailored resource packages for:

  • Grades K to 2: Connections in Agriculture Web Activity
  • Grades 3 to 5: Connections in Agriculture Web Activity & Short Story
  • Grades 6 to 8: Connections in Agriculture Create Your Own Video Activity

Join in the fun of learning about where food comes from with students from across Canada by sharing your experience on social media and tagging #CALM22.

Thank you for your interest, registration has closed. Check back in 2023!
