Create memorable learning experiences! Your students will be excited and engaged with our in-school and out-of-school programs.

Canadian Agriculture Literacy Month (CALM)

AITC-SK Initiative

Canadian Agriculture Literacy Month (CALM) 2022 will explore Connections in Agriculture through a NEW hands-on resource that includes a book and an engaging activity. We will also be coordinating optional virtual or in-person classroom presentations this year for your students to connect with a local farmer and/or agriculture industry professional. Your students will get to ask their questions about farming like how do farmers decide which crop to grow, why are some eggs brown, where do cows sleep in winter, and more!

We have tailored resource packages for:

  • Grades K to 2
  • Grades 3 to 5
  • Grades 6 to 8

Join in the fun of learning about where food comes from with students from across Canada by sharing your experience on social media and tagging #CALM22.
