GRADES 3 TO 5 | SPRING
An excellent opportunity for students to see live farm animals and meet the farmers who raise them. Presenters from the agriculture industry will lead students through interactive activities that will increase students’ understanding of agriculture. Stations may include beef, dairy, heavy horses, light horses, miniature horses, sheep, goats, swine, poultry, alpacas, llamas, grains & grasses, horticulture, SAASE interactive displays, bees, farm machinery display, farm & quad safety.
The showcase lasts approximately 4.5 hours. Free admission with a complimentary lunch provided for all students, teachers and volunteers.
Allergy Alert: Please note that students will be exposed to a farm environment while viewing live animals.
Students requiring a special meal must supply their own.
