Ag at the Zoo

Saskatoon

MAY/JUNE & SEPTEMBER

We need to grow food to feed animals, too! In this brand new program, students plant, care for and harvest a garden to feed the zoo animals. "Zoo Poo" is used to fertilize the garden and demonstrates part of the food production cycle.

Thank you for your interest. Registration is limited to schools that are within walking distance of the zoo.

Host Partner: Saskatoon Zoo Society, Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo

"What? Pea seeds look exactly like the peas I eat. Does that mean I eat seeds? Gardens are so cool."
