Food Farms

Throughout SK 


Experience the full cycle of farming! Students learn about where their food comes by growing the ingredients for familiar foods such as pizza, burgers, and fries. Grade 3 students plant seeds in the Spring and then return in the Fall when they are in Grade 4 to harvest their crops! Food Farms take place in a number of different communities throughout Saskatchewan:

Kindersley - September 20
Melfort - September 17
Moose Jaw - September 19
Norquay - October 9
Prince Albert - September 11
Saskatoon - September 24
Swift Current - September 19
Tisdale - TBD
Yorkton - September 11 & 12
