    Summer Garden Program

    AITC-SK Initiative

Welcome to Agriculture in the Classroom SK’s exciting and vibrant school gardening program that has been blossoming in schoolyards across Saskatoon! Summer Garden Program hopes to empower students, families, and the wider community to take an active role in healthy food production and value its importance through future community projects.

Summer Garden Program is a free, drop-in program designed for elementary school students looking for fun activities this summer. We have 2 hours of scheduled programming for the kids where we do physical activities, eat snacks, play games, make crafts, and tend to the garden. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where kids can have some fun and participate in hands-on learning opportunities related to agriculture. Check out our schedule below and come join us for the program at a location near you!
