Celebrate Ag Month during October!

If you eat food, you are connected to agriculture.

Agriculture Month is proclaimed every October in Saskatchewan, and provides the perfect opportunity for those who grow food, and those who love to eat it, to connect. Through the celebrations, consumers will have the chance to better understand how Saskatchewan farmers, ranchers and industry grow their crops and raise their livestock.

The farmers in our province work hard to produce good, safe, and healthy food.  They take care of their land and animals.  They not only produce food for the people in our province, but also to help feed the growing world.  This month let’s share Saskatchewan’s incredible food story.  Let’s celebrate our Saskatchewan producers and the wide variety of delicious food and ingredients they grow right here in our province!

Share your Ag Month celebrations using #OurFoodHasAStory.
