Students explore world food sustainability and the ripple effect on social, economic, and environmental factors locally and globally. Agricultural experts and real farm families from Kenya, India and Canada guide students through a virtual farm simulation, career avatar game, and geography scavenger hunt.

Students explore many obstacles and challenges facing food security. Students build critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they must adapt their budget when faced with a “Twist of Fate”, or real-life challenge scenerio, identifying the importance of budgeting and food security.
