The agriculture industry accounts for one in eight jobs in Canada. There are endless opportunities in the agriculture industry, which will allow you to have a lasting impact on the environment, animals, and people.

For students who are interested in pursuing a career in agriculture, the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture is proudly offering the Agriculture Student Scholarship Program. The Agriculture Student Scholarship Program grand-prize scholarship is $4,000, and there are three additional runner-up scholarships of $2,000.  

Last year’s winner, Mackenzie Van Damme states: “It means the world to me to receive this scholarship, as the field of agriculture is where I plan to forge my career. By helping to fund my education, this scholarship will help me learn all about agriculture, meet new people and spark an even greater passion for the field.”
