The Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions is proud to announce the second edition of the Youth Inspired! Children’s Book Competition, for young Canadians between the ages of 7 to 30. Our goal is to increase the number of books about Canadian agriculture available to children.

Have you ever wanted to have a story published? Here is your chance!

Children’s book entries should meet the following criteria:

Youth 7 to 12 years old

• *A topic of their choosing that relates to Canadian Agriculture
  *Must be educational and maintain a theme
  *Accurate information and attribution is extremely important, please keep track of your sources.
  *Written in either French or English
  *Must be between 10-20 pages, and have a minimum of 5 words per page. 
  **Note to parents and teachers: please let your children run wild with their imaginations, we can’t wait to see what they can create on their own.

Youth 13 to 30 years old

• *A topic of their choosing that relates to Canadian Agriculture
  *Must be educational and maintain a theme
  *Accurate information and attribution is extremely important, please keep track of your sources.
  *Written in either French or English
  *Must be between 15-35 pages, and have a minimum of 5 words per page. 
  **Note to parents and teachers: please let your children run wild with their imaginations, we can’t wait to see what they can create on their own.
